If there is a life in which the word fado makes sense, it is that of the musician Beau Bledsoe. He has learned all about the music and to play Portuguese guitar in Lisbon. He went back to Kansas City and every year returns, with Americans that come from Missouri and Kansas to Portugal … to listen to fado.
